Crypto Proof of Stake

SplitSecure is a distributed hardware security module. What that means is that we take secrets like keys and credentials and split them across multiple devices, leveraging the hardware security claims of each device. This allows us to offer superior claims to traditional hardware security modules, while being cheaper, more performant, and easier to manage.

Critically for proof-of-stake cryptocurrency validators, “more performant” means that SplitSecure can offer the throughput and latency required to act as a validator while still providing FIPS-140-3 Level 3 HSM equivalent security claims. As there are no traditional HSMs with anything near the throughput and latency required to act as a cryptocurrency validator, this makes us the best-in-industry security solution for proof-of-stake validators.

We enable complete custody over the entire crypto stack, and that operators will never handle any key material.
